Is Dre uploading a new track as I type?
We’ve already touched on how we’ve been waiting for Dre’s big day for too long. Snoop’s dropped his thoughts now it’s the man himself speaking out about his forthcoming 3rd studio LP.
Dre told USA Today; “I’m just now (over the last couple of months) starting to feel that it’s going to be right and it’s something I can be proud of, and everybody is going to love it…In a perfect world I’m shooting for a November or December release. I’m going to put this record out, promote it, tour and then become a hermit. I’m going to stay in the studio and produce.”
He also dribbled out that the LP will drop on Aftermath/Interscope and feature “the usual suspects” ie. Jay-Z, Lil Wayne & Nas.
Lastly D R E also said that he’d like to find the next artist so he can launch them into the pop stratosphere, like he did with Snoop, Marshall & Fiddy. “All I want to do is sit in the studio with that person for a year and try to create another masterpiece,” he said.
