Bruce Springsteen‘s intimate Broadway run, a performance combining acoustic performances and spoken-word stories and interludes, comes to a close on December 15th, after a run of just on 14 months.

On that day, Netflix is gifting unto the world a permanent record of the once-in-a-lifetime run, in the form of a filmed special of the entire show.

Ahead of that, Netflix released a trailer for the special today, and it looks every bit as remarkable as critics made it out to be.

An intimate, wildly unique portrait of an artist that has transcended time to become not only one of America’s greatest ever songwriters, but one of the world’s hardest working and most widely beloved musicians.

The release of the filmed special also coincides with a recorded release of the show’s soundtrack, which includes live acoustic cuts of some of Bruce’s biggest hits, including Born In The USA, Born to RunDancing in the DarkTenth-Avenue Freeze Out, and Thunder Road.

Springsteen on Broadway hits Netflix on December 15th, just in time to spend a lazy Christmas break night on the couch with The Boss.

There’s certainly worse ways to Tide your Yule, I tell you what.
