Not only is Nas headlining the huge SUGAR MOUNTAIN 2015 line-up, he’ll be hitting the stage to perform one of the greatest albums – not just in East Coast hip hop but in the history of music – Illmatic.
On top of that they’ve got the incomparable Kim Gordon teaming up with Bill Nace as Body/Head, the much hypemachine’d ODESZA and Ariel Pink will be riding the chillwave in. Meanwhile, Brooklyn’s Terrible Records have teamed up with the Sugar Mountain folk for a one-off show titled ‘Terrible Love,’ feat. noted loose unit Kirin J. Callinan. This year Sugar Mountain is also set to expand – to a massive five-stage situation – in it’s brand new inner-city home at the Victorian College of the Arts on Saturday 24th January 2015. Mark it in.
