N.E.R.D. Release First Song In Four Years For Spongebob Soundtrack

Beloved by hip-hop heads and rock boys the world over, N.E.R.D., the band most famous for featuring Pharrell Williams on vocals and figuring out how many girls are standing in the line for the bathroom, are back with a new jam.

The group, comprising Williams, Neptunes production partner-in-crime, Chad Hugo, and Shay Haley, last released material in 2010. In the ensuing years, Williams has gone stratospheric, so much so that December saw him receive his very own Walk Of Fame star in Hollywood.
‘Squeeze Me’ will be part of the soundtrack to the new Spongebob Squarepants movie. It sounds a bit like The Jungle Book, and if there’s any double entendres in there, they are not as obvious as previous N.E.R.D. efforts like ‘Brain’, which made no bones about its views on oral sex.
If anything, it sounds like Skateboard P has been listening to a lot of Plastic Beach by Gorillaz. This is by no means a bad thing.
Welcome back, nerds.
