It’s no secret that Morrissey hates the British Monarchy. The opinionated crooner hates plenty of things such as meat, Canada, NME, and birthdays, but the venom and veracity to which he delivers his musings on the Royal Family is enough to give even the staunchest republicans a chill. Speaking to New Zealand’s 3News, Morrissey was true to form suggesting that Michael Christian and Mel Greig had been martyred, blaming the Royals and the English press for Jacintha Saldanha’s death.
