Miley Cyrus can now call off her quest for notoriety because she has officially reached its dizzying summit. In 24 hours Miley has achieved two of the most unimpeachable signs of cultural relevancy conceivable, inspiring both a plague of flesh coloured crotch-dropping imitators as the Halloween costume of the season, as well as an entire episode of the inimitable pop culture barometer South Park.
The episode “Taming Strange” features Miley’s thinly veiled animated doppelganger ‘Foofa’ of non-fictional children’s show Yo Gabba Gabba! who is “done being a kiddy star” and plans to perform at the MTV Music Video Awards to “show her strange” (presumably, strange = vagina). Her friends from Yo Gabba Gabba! stage an intervention with a little help from Sinead O’Connor. Enjoy.
Not quite as good as this episode though.
