Miley and Pharrell Cavorted Together For Feminism in His New Video

It was only a matter of time before Pharrell Williams and Miley Cyrus ended up together. Pop music’s preeminent ridiculous hat-wearer and its foremost tongue sticker-outer have joined forces in the video for the former’s ‘Come Get It Bae’. ‘Bae’ is a playful acronym for “before anyone else”, and according to the unimpeachable Urban Dictionary, is also the Danish word for ‘poop’.
Which one is he referring to? You decide.

The cut comes from Pharrell’s album G.I.R.L., whose marketing campaign has seen the singer surround himself with scores of models and other beautiful women while mentioning the word “feminism” a lot in interviews.
In ‘Come Get It Bae’, he explores the theme of empowerment by sitting in a director’s chair in a very expensive-looking loft space and making ladies dance for his pleasure. Miley’s tongue stops by for a cameo, because of course it does.
Do you hear that? That’s the sound of a million glass ceilings shattering.
