Didirri, fresh off a tour of the UK and Europe which saw him playing festivals like Spain‘s Primavera Sounds and Brighton‘s The Great Escape, has just been picked up by the iconic (and important AF) Tom Windish from Paradigm Talent Agency, for bookings across the US and South America.
This is the man whose CV includes developing artists like Lorde, Flume, Ed Sheeran and Hot Chip, so it’s safe to say that high praise from Windish is something that’s to be revered.
Windish told The Industry Observer that Didirri’s set at the Sofar Sounds headquarters in London struck a deep chord, moving him to tears by the close of the set.
There I am and the first artist up was Didirri. He started strumming and singing and my jaw dropped. By the end of his set, there were tears in my eyes. He made an immediate impact on me in the way only music or art or magic or a shooting star can.
Didirri’s set to release his debut EP, Measurements, in July, so being an artist with a few singles under his belt and seen as worthy of being represented by one of the biggest bookers in the game is god damn impressive.
But also look at the precious angel and tell me you don’t want to adopt him immediately.
