Matt Corby, Yr Fave Indie Crush, Is Kicking Off A Huge Aus Tour Next Year

If there’s been a significant Matt Corby-sized hole in your life then you’re going to be stoked to know that he’s just dropped a huge Australian tour, taking on most capital cities (sorry Darwin) and a bunch of regional dates across a massive six-week jaunt next year.

The Rainbow Valley tour begins in Rockhampton on March 21, before tripping up north for a bit, then down to Sydney and Canberra, back up to Queensland, and then doing the big swoop across the bottom of the country to hit MelbourneAdelaide, Hobart, and then over to Perth on April 27.

Taking on huge arenas and smaller venues alike across the tour, every show is all ages – apart from Canberra – so there’s a chance for everyone to get serenaded by Matt. And you all bloody deserve it.

The tour is named after his upcoming record Rainbow Valley, which is named after the property that he owns and lives on in northern NSW with his partner, and their little one (who I assume is a perfect angel). The album’s out Friday November 2, but what we’ve heard of it so far leans into soul and psychedelia, so we can expect the shows to be equally as immersive and soul-soothing.

Tickets for the Rainbow Valley tour go on sale at 12pm local time on Friday November 2, with a sneaky presale happening for Matt Corby fans and Live Nation members from 11am on Wednesday, October 31 over on the Live Nation website.

Check out the full dates and venues below and drop a line in the group chat, cos these will probably sell out pretty quick.
