Mark Ronson Pulls Out Of Future Music Festival

He only joined the bill last week but due to the bloody horse head in his bed opportunities “he can’t refuse” Mark Ronson has been forced to pull out of Future Music’s 2012 lineup.

Organisers released the following statement today: “Mark Ronson was outstanding at Future Music Festival this year and following this we both really wanted a follow up tour showcasing his the other creative abilities. He is an amazing DJ and this was the basis of his proposed appearance at Future Music 2012. Over and above this he is one of the worlds most in demand producers and he has had opportunities come up he cant refuse. We are still in discussions about when he can return with us to Australia and we are more than happy to wait for the right time… He is welcome back whenever its suitable and we wish him all the best continuing with what is a brilliant career to date.”

Performing in Ronson’s stead are New Order, James Murphy, Aphex Twin, The Rapture and Frank Ocean.
