Here in Australia, we’ve just been blessed by a Florence + The Machine tour and actual angel Maggie Rogers is coming here in May, but over in London, those lucky buggers have just copped the two of them. At once. On stage. And it’s not fair.
At Maggie’s show at the iconic O2 Academy Brixton — her biggest headline show ever, which saw her playing to 5,000 fans — the US singer stopped to introduce a special pal. See, it was a full moon and Mags was feelin’ ~witchy~.

tonight, on the full moon, ill play the biggest headlining show of my life. im sitting in the last row of @o2academybrix right now crying with a cup of perfectly watery coffee – listening to the PA turn on, feeling the venue warm up, watching the lights go on… i love this life more than anything and i can’t wait to play to all 5000 of you tonight. xx
She said to the crowd: “it is a full moon, and we are in South London… may I please introduce to you my musical big sister, the most powerful witch I know: Miss Florence Welch.”
Obviously the fans went absolutely fucking nuts for it, and dunno bout you but I’m screaming just as loud from my desk which is… probably not as socially acceptable but who cares!
Flo joined Maggie for her massive tune “Light On”, and because some of the people watching were kind humans, there’s a bunch of sneaky vids from the gig. Take a look, it’s almost, almost, like being there:

Maggie Rogers and Florence Welch really did go on stage and sang Light On together on a full moon night— ???? (@ItsAnnaSP) February 20, 2019
They really did do that
It’s just too much. Adding to that these epic / adorable / hair goals pics from Maggie herself:
Ugh, my heart. This person summed the whole situation up pretty well, I reckon:
