True to the spirit and actual lyrics of the song, after she fell “down on her knees, alone in the dark, after the heartache, she carried on” performing like the trooper she is.
Madonna, the original material girl – seriously, the pun potential on this story is so overwhelming I’m crying – has since given an explanation for the fall on Instagram, writing “Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I’m fine! [red heart emoji] #livingforlove”
