It looks like your very specific, mostly useless set of skills are finally in demand thanks to everyone’s favourite chain-smoking, gap-toothed IRL angel, Mac Demarco.
All those hours and late nights you’ve spent crafting the dankest of memes and the spiciest of content – completely unappreciated in your time – can be put to good use as Mac’s Memesmith-In-Chief.
The listing on his website says they are looking for a new fan club assistant, with a few slightly more specific requirements – namely experience with MailChimp, WordPress and iMovie, and attention to detail (y’know, that thing that every single job listing in the world asks for). There’s also bonus points for HTML/CSS experience, just in case you are a big time nerd / spent some time fucking around with your Myspace layout in 2008.
The kicker is that you need to be available to travel to Brooklyn at least one day a week, which seems like it would be a huge and expensive drag if you didn’t already live in or near Brooklyn.
