Teaming up with Kenzo and i-D, M.I.A’s latest video drop, Y.A.L.A, sees an arresting cluster of intense neon and flashing lights party gaudily with a vivid spectrum across M.I.A’s (impeccable) face. Directed by Daniel Sannwald and notably featuring an exploration of what YOLO means, while also parlaying “I drink some cointreau / keep it in my poncho”, this, like everything M.I.A touches, is a winner.
