M.I.A. Goes Insane, Tweets Journalist Phone Number

M.I.A. has gone one step closer to convincing people she is an insane lunatic bitch by tweeting the mobile phone number of New York Times journalist, Lynn Hirschberg, after the article she wrote on the rapper made her come across as a total asshole.

Here’s some of the M.I.A. quotes from the article that suggest she really is a total asshole:

“I kind of want to be an outsider. I don’t want to make the same music, sing about the same stuff, talk about the same things. If that makes me a terrorist, then I’m a terrorist.”

“I am so tired of stylists. They are ruining individual style.”

“Nike is the uniform for kids all over the world. And African design has been killed by Nike.”

“I don’t see how you can shut up and just enjoy success when other people who don’t have the fame or the luxury to rent security guards are suffering.”

“I can’t talk about Gaga anymore. All I’ll say is, it’s upsetting when babies say ga-ga now. It used to be innocent. Now, they’re calling her name.”

“I’m in the visual part of my brain now.”

The general spin of the article paints her as being a pretentious, humourless, self-righteous, politically-misinformed, controversy-obsessed wanker. And pretentious, humourless, self-righteous, politically-misinformed, controversy-obsessed wankers hate it when they come across as pretentious, humourless, self-righteous, politically-misinformed, controversy-obsessed wankers.

Hence the tweet:

I can’t decide what’s worse: the fact that she did a WINKING EMOTICON or that I’ll never be able to enjoy “Paper Planes” in the same way because I hate M.I.A.
