It’s been a big year for Sydney five-piece Lost Valentinos. This year alone they’ve put out a single on UK imprint Dummy, played Splendour In The Grass, released some amazing videos, collaborated with Melbourne fashion label Pigeon Combine, offered fans a trip to Peru and just recently, completed a national tour.
All their ’09 achievements however, pale in comparison to the launch of debut long-player “Lost Cities Of Gold” an oft-delayed amalgam of peyote-induced hallucinations, Krautrock propulsion and shimmering techno. Most people have heard “Serio”, “Bismarck” and “Midnights” by now but for a taste of the rest of the album all you have to do is click on the link below. You won’t be disappointed.
