Everybody loves a camping festival over New Year’s, but sheesh some of the options are bloody far away – good thing then that this year’s Lost Paradise in Glenworth Valley is boasting a hot AF line-up of internationals and heavy hitters from our local music scene for those of us who can’t be arsed traipsing too far out of Sydney.

The fifth edition of the fest, running from December 28 to January 1, have the NSW exclusive on British hip hop kween M.I.A., and will also see sets from fellow no longer ‘Naive‘ Brits The Kooks, and NYC rapper Joey Bada$$. That’s incredibly worth the hour’s drive imho.

A Tamil staple of Jasmin flowers! had the best smelling show of all time !

Joining them are a whole stack of cracker Aussie acts like headliner Tash Sultana, dance mainstays PNAU, stoner boiiis Dune Rats, indie favourites Vera Blue and Winston Surfshirt, and too many DJs to name – just look at the list down there, it’s y’huge.

And that’s just the start of it: there’s heaps more local acts and DJs to be announced.

That’s just the music side of things: Lost Paradise is a wonderland of its own, chocker-full of local food offerings, artists and performers, spiritual stuff, educational opps on topics as disparate as medicinal mushrooms and hula hooping, as well as BOARDI, the Indigenous cultural area, connecting punters to the sacred land on which they party.
