Lollapalooza’s 2017 Lineup Is Unfairly Stacked & A Clear Jab At Australians

Australia, do you want to look at a lineup and weep?

Overnight, Chicago‘s premiere music festival Lollapalooza released its line-up for 2017, and it’s almost unfairly stacked.

Chance the Rapper, The Killers, Muse and Arcade Fire are all headlining a bill which includes The xx, Lorde, Blink-182, DJ Snake, Justice and Alt-J

Whereas that line-up would be a full year’s offering for Australian music fans, if we were lucky, spread out across multiple festivals, stadium tours, sideshows and the candlelit vigil for your empty bank account, overseas festivals offer a slightly better ROI.

Unfortunately, tickets are basically sold out (they go on sale within hours of Lollapalooza releasing the line-up).

As of right the fuck now, one-day tickets to Sunday & the VIP / Platinum tickets are the only ones still available.
The Lollapalooza resale market is a real fucked time, with fake wristbands duping people every single year.
Fortunately, Chicago is also home to one Chance the Rapper a.k.a. a really good human being who also makes dope music.

We’ll keep ya posted. Y’know, just in case you’ve got a trip to the States planned later this year.
