Lizzo just performed in front of Beyoncé at Made In America Festival and honestly, her reaction was everything.

The 31-year-old pop icon’s set was made infinitely more incredible when you realise that Queen Bey and Jay-Z were in the audience. I mean, does it get any better than that? I don’t think so.

But the only person who’s freaking out harder than me over Beyoncé’s surprise appearance is Lizzo herself. She took to Instagram to share her reaction, and it was the purest thing I’ve ever seen.

“Swipe to lose your fucking mind,” she captioned the Instagram post.

Swipe to lose your fucking mind ????

She also shared the photos on Twitter with the caption “a story in two parts.”

Her iconic performance at Made In America comes just days after her appearance at the VMAs. She took to the stage with an important message that is so rarely shared.

“Let me talk to you for a second. I’m tired of the bulls–t and I don’t have to know your story to know you’re tired of the bulls–t too,” she said. “It’s so hard trying to love yourself in a world that doesn’t love you back, am I right?”

“I just think there’s a double standard when it comes to women,” she preached. “I don’t like it when people think it’s hard for me to see myself as beautiful. I don’t like it when people are shocked that I’m doing it.”

She’s made her mark on the VMAs, she’s won the hearts of Beyoncé and the rest of the world.

She’s unapologetically herself, and she sure as hell doesn’t need you to call her “brave” for loving herself. Lizzo is the queen this world needs.
