True to their word, The Strokes have released the first taste of their promised new material. The band posted the song ‘One Way Trigger‘ to their Facebook page earlier this morning accompanied by the message, “it’s been a while…sorry the long wait! for something new, go to [The Strokes’ website, where you can get a free download] now. more to come…”
While it isn’t the intended lead single ‘All The Time‘ that Seattle Radio station 107.7 The End confirmed in an exclusive in-house preview last week, it sure sounds like it could be the “more synth driven track” that still manages to “pack a classic Strokes sound” that the station confirmed would also appear on the band’s imminent full-length album.
