In one of the most alarmingly pre-pre-pre-emptive single releases of recent memory, the new outing from Jack White‘s project (you can’t really call them “side projects” any more) The Dead Weather, which also features Alison Mosshart of The Kills, Dean Fertita of Queens Of The Stone Age and Jack Lawrence of The Raconteurs, is from their new album, which isn’t scheduled for release until twenty-frickin’-fifteen. The track is called Open Up (That’s Enough), and is the first of a series of two-song sets of shrieky, swampy, feverishness which will be released in the lead up to the unveiling of the album.
