Since the announce that Lorde would be curating a cute teen mixtape for the ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I‘ emotions have been running high, among fans most especially, with an expectation that this will either be the greatest curated soundtrack in the history of the world or that Ella was too young for such a responsibility; our Lorde flew too close to the sun, they’ll say.
Both of which, of course, are completely unreasonable but a by-product of the large amounts of hype and thirstiness directed at the talented New Zealander.
And now a hint of the soundtrack has emerged from behind the curtain via a radio rip from Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show (speaking of which, this). The ominously titled ‘This Is Not A Game‘ both hints at a bloody and spr srs Hunger Games instalment and features a trio of A+ contributors i.e. Lorde herself, The Chemical Brothers and Miguel.
