We’re throwing together a mini-festival at Sydney‘s Metro Theatre on May 21, with A+ acts like Sophie Lowe, LUEN, Collarbones, Pearls, Polographia & more helping us raise money for Youth Off The Streets. It’s gunna be a fucking great night, with all donations on the night going towards youth homelessness, and you’re all invited. RSVP HERE and help us give back.
Wednesdays are general shitfights, but our girl LUEN‘s about to plant some groovy seeds into your mid-week crisis.
In the lead-up to her performance for our PEDESTRIAN HELP mini-festival this month (with all proceeds from the night going straight to Youth Off the Streets), the Sydney-based babe has put together an exclusive mixtape of chill hip hop for y’all – not only to get you pumped for the event, but also to reflect on how lucky most people, including herself, had it growing up.
“I grew up in a house where music was played constantly: Faithless, Radiohead, The Cure, Gorillaz, Massive Attack, Portishead. This is a mix filled with sounds new and old that hazily remind me of the sounds I knew growing up. Hopefully the tracks will serve as a bit of a reminder of how fortunate some of us are to grow up in households surrounded by music.“

Talk about a half-hour heaven, hey.
If you like what you hear, LUEN will be mixing at Sydney‘s Metro Theatre for our PEDESTRIAN HELP mini-festival on May 21 to help us tackle the bigger and very real issue of youth homelessness in Australia.

We’d love you to come get jiggy with us, LUEN and more A+ Aussie acts for the worthy cause.
