After being named for both Fairgrounds Festival and Meredith Music Festival, Liam Gallagher has dropped details for the rest of his big tour of Australia in the last few weeks of 2019. We’re really about to tell this year to fook off and get wankered, aren’t we?

Playing a whole host of venues across the country from full-blown arenas to a winery in Adelaide Hills, folks who can’t get to either of the festivals will still get their chance to glimpse the man in the parka this summer.
Kicking off on December 6 at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall, Liam will trip down the east coast before flicking over to Adelaide and Fremantle, and then skipping across the pond to New Zealand to round out the whole thing.
He’ll have a brand new album, Why Me Why Not, locked and loaded and ready to go after it drops on September 20, and from that tracks we’ve already heard from it, it’s sounding like tried and true Liam Gallagher bangers.
Fresh from playing a huge set at Glastonbury in June, he recently told PEDESTRIAN.TV that he’s keen to get stuck into some of the new album at live shows.
“We’ve only played three off the new album, so I’m looking forward to playing more as the tour goes on,” he said.
Despite returning to Australia in the start of our summer – which can be unforgiving at the best of times – he’s not worried about overheating in his classic parka, and told me that every time he comes to Australia it rains anyway.
Keep your fingers crossed that the weather plays fair and we turn it right on for Liam’s whip around the country in December.
Joining Liam on his stops in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne is Scottish singer-songwriter Gerry Cinnamon, who recently played Glastonbury and TRNSMT Festivals, and Liam is really keen to bring out on tour to Australia.
