Funny Fooker Lewis Capaldi Drops Dates For Aussie Tour In 2020

If you’re aware of the excellence that is Lewis Capaldi, you’re going to be phenomenally stoked that the cheeky Scot is headed back to Australia and New Zealand for a string of shows at the start of 2020.

The 22-year-old is currently dominating the charts with his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, and his online presence is absolutely second to none.

Hell, I’ve already written about why Lewis Capaldi is a Scottish Treasure™ and if his more recent content (like reacting to being “slagged ahf” by Noel Gallagher) is anything to go by, these shows are going to be red fookin’ hot.

And I am officially beginning my quest to become Lewis Capaldi’s Aussie Best Friend, thank you very much.

He’ll be hitting Sydney‘s Hordern Pavilion on Thursday, January 2, then down to Melbourne‘s Festival Hall on Friday, January 3, and skipping across the pond to Auckland Town Hall on Tuesday, January 7.

It’s all very suspiciously close to New Year’s Eve and its associated festivals, so who knows maybe we might just spot the cheeky bastard at Falls Festival for the big ball drop. Who knows! But if he ends up on that lineup I bloody CALLED IT, okay? Okay?? It was ME.

Tickets for all the shows go on sale via Secret Sounds‘ website from 10am July 2 (local time), and there’s a sneaky pre-sale happening from 9am Monday July 1, which you can sign up for over here.

Now let us all celebrate this excellent news with easily the best tweet from Lewis Capaldi in the last few months.
