After the success of this year’s inaugural jaunt to Auckland, organizers of the Melbourne-born St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival have tentatively announced a Singapore date via their official Twitter account: “Looks like we’ll be doing the singapore laneway. Psyched. Venue is wild. Hoping to run a comp and get peeps there”. The festival was rumoured to make a Singaporean stop last year but unfortunately for our indie-loving, gum-adverse neighbours up north, that never materialized. So yeah, this year could be the year. Laneway and Laksa anyone? Or how about some chillwave and chilli crab? (sorry)
