Here Are The Triple J Unearthed Champs Taking To Your City’s Laneway Fest

Laneway Festival is pretty packed this year, with legends like Slowdive, The War On Drugs, and The Internet commandeering the bill, but organisers have once again found a way to load the lineup with even more goodness – this time, courtesy of Triple J Unearthed.

Five acts have been plucked from the local music scene to bolster the fest, and each one is worthy of your attention.

In Sydney, up-and-coming folk purveyor Angie McMahon will be gracing the stage with her earthy tunes, and with shades of Bridget St John in her voice:

Perth rapper T.Soko will offer up some bars to the Fremantle crowd. Peep one of his latest offerings, and tell us you don’t hear a bit of Schoolboy Q:

Paradise Club will hold down the fort in Adelaide with their blissed-out alternative rock. If you’re a fan of Turnover, you’ll likely go off chops for this cut:

Sydney will be blessed with the liquid vibes of Exhibitionist. Expect supple production and lilting melodies across the board:

Finally, Brisbane will be treated to the sunny jangles of Hatchie, and we quite honestly cannot think of more suitable music for a warm arvo at the Showgrounds.

Peep the full lineup HERE, if you haven’t already, and psych yourself up for the fact there are now even more stellar acts to vie for your attention.
