Lady Gaga Is Bringing Her ARTPOP Gallery To Australia, Invites You To Submit Work

For her next trick as part of a haute-marketing promotional juggernaut which has so far included collaborations with artistic luminaries like Marina AbramovicJeff KoonsInez & VinoodhThe Stratosphere and GravityLady Gaga will be returning to Australia for the first time since 2012’s Born This Way Ball at an as-yet unspecified date early next year to attend the opening of the Telstra Thanks Presents Lady Gaga ARTPOP Gallery, which I’ll hereafter be referring to using the abridged title ‘ARTPOP Gallery‘ for obvious reasons.

Ten fans in particular will also literally die when they’re granted the honour of an audience with Mother Monster at the opening of said ARTPOP Gallery: a physical and online exhibition space curated by and consisting of every single multi-media artwork submitted online by antipodean Little Monsters and inspired by the symbiosis of ideas embodied by ARTPOP; think illustrated sexxx dreams, silk taffeta, painted swine faces and thinly-veiled references to hash-fuelled threesomes.
“You are the ARTPOP generation and this is the beginning of a revolution,” says Gags in the below video. “Soon I am coming to Australia where we will be creating our very own ARTPOP gallery to showcase all of your amazing creations, this is what ARTPOP is really all about. It is time for you to shine.”
Details regarding the location of the gallery and the exact date of Gaga’s arrival to follow.
