Kimbra Drops Two Brand Spanking New Tracks From Upcoming Album ‘The Golden Echo’

Pedestrian premiered Kimbra‘s in-your-face video for new single ”90s Music’ last week, and reactions ranged from “LOVE” to “OUTFITS” to “fkn teriible [sic]”. Wherever you stand on the song, it’s certainly a bold statement. Kimbra’s back, and she’s shaking things up.

Kimbra’s second album, The Golden Echo, arrives in August. This morning, the New Zealand singer announced the track list, and more excitingly, unveiled two brand new songs from the record, both of which you can hear below.

‘Love In In High Places’ is a more traditionally sultry Kimbra joint. It even sounds a little bit Niki & The Dove in places, and we’re enjoying the slinkiness of its sound and that pretty melody.

‘Nobody But You’ sounds … a lot like actual ’90s music, and we’re really enjoying this one too.

Kimbra’s back!
