Khalid paused a show mid-gig to comfort a crying fan in the front row.
It was at his Edinburgh concert on February 18th. “Hey don’t cry don’t cry don’t cry don’t cry!” he called to her through the mic, before jumping down to hug the young fan.
“I saw her crying and had to jump down she was the cutest in the world,” he later said on Twitter.

Fans are now even more in love with their idol and also preparing to cry quite a bit at his next shows. Some may say it’s a mood killer, if an entire concert hall spent the gig violently sobbing, but hey – if that’s what a fan’s gotta do to get a damn hug around here, it’s what a fan’s gotta do.

Still, Khalid fans are extremely happy, and that’s all you can ask for, really.
Khalid, whatever you do don’t change ever.
