Ebullient pop Svengali Ke$ha Rose Sebert has entered the Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Centre, southwest of Chicago, to seek treatment for an unspecified eating disorder. The 26-year-old vegetarian posted a statement to her Facebook page over the weekend, writing:
I’m a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself but I’ve found it hard to practice. I’ll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder … to learn to love myself again. Exactly as I am. – k
On New Year’s Eve, Ke$ha made her directorial debut with the clip for her single “Dirty Love”; on New Year’s Day, she tweeted: “Cheers to this year being the best year ever. 2014 gon [sic] be the year of truth and freedom [two cat emojis].”
