Stop whatever you’re doing because Katy Perry has just announced that she’s pregnant with her first child in the music video for her latest track Never Worn White. Honestly, this is a fucking Beyoncé-level pregnancy announcement.
Katy dropped the highly-anticipated video for her latest track on Thursday afternoon, and although I was expecting it to be epic, I don’t think anyone thought it would be THIS incredible.
The song tackles Perry’s fears of commitment, but also expresses her excitement for a future of love and happiness with her future husband, which is good considering he’s knocked her up.
“Cause I’ve never worn white/But I wanna get it right/Yeah, I really wanna try with you,” the American Idol judge sings in the chorus. “No, I’ve never worn white/But I’m standin’ here tonight/Cause I really wanna say ‘I do.’”
Perry dropped a teaser earlier in the day, leaving fans speculating whether she was with child. But this confirms it once and for all.
The 35-year-old singer can be seen cradling her bump, thus confirming that she and future husband Orlando Bloom are having a fucking baby.
It’s Perry’s first child with her 43-year-old fiancé, who is already a father to 9-year-old Flynn (whom he shares with ex-wife and Aussie supermodel Miranda Kerr).
Perry cheekily took to Instagram to announce that it’s going to be a “jam packed summer.”
