Katie Noonan, Cut Copy, Van She Cut New Version Of “Great Southern Land”


Tourism Australia has launched a collaborative music video The Great Southern Land Project celebrating the 30th anniversary of Icehouse’s hit 1982 single about how bloody ace Australia is. The new version, unveiled last night at a launch event in Sydney’s MCA gallery, features contemporary Australian artists such as Eskimo Joe, Katie Noonan, Cut Copy, Muscles, Jonathan Boulet and Van She (as well as regular people) hamming it up around iconic Australian locations such as Uluru, Kangaroo Island, Parliament House, Federation Square, Degraves Lane, Bondi Beach and Taronga Zoo.
