Watching someone fall over can either be mildly amusing or sympathy inducing. When that person is a celebrity however, in this instance Kate Perry, there is only one reaction. 100% LOLS.
Maybe it’s the fact that she tried to be spontaneous and quirky and it backfired, or maybe I just don’t like the cut of her girl-kissing jib but seeing Kate Perry flailing around on the ground like a turtle on its back, for me, is the epitome of hilarious. The following clip is the kind of embarrassing celebrity misstep that Bert Newton and the producers of “20 to 1” dream of.
One word – Schadenfreude.
