Kanye West Dropped A Whole New Tune Called ‘XTCY’ To His Twitter

Following his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this week, Kanye West has unleashed a new song by the name of ‘XTCY’. Record producer DJ Clarke Kent actually tweeted the news saying he had been in the studio with West when the artist said to “let that new ‘XTCY’ joint go!!!”

Kent tweeted a link to the track which West reposted to his feed:

Since the song’s release, people immediately got to work sussing out every bit of it although most people seemed to be chucking question marks over one particular verse.

The lyrics come about in the first verse and feature the Kar/Jenners.

Make of them what you will:

“You got sick thoughts? I got more of ’em
You got a sister-in-law you would smash? I got four of them
Damn, those is your sisters
You did something unholy to them pictures
Damn, you need to be locked up
Nah, we need a bigger hot tub.”

For a deep dive, you can head on over to Genius for the lyrics. The song’s album artwork is probably the most memorable photo from sister-in-law, Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday.

Naturally, the song’s already popped up on a whole lot of platforms because this is the internet we’re talking about:

Earlier today, the 41-year-old got tweeting about his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live to clear up some things from the interview. A number of people believed West had been stumped by a particular question having to do with one US President Donald Trump.

Kimmel had asked if West thinks Trump cares about the black community.

On Twitter, West explained “The question was so important I took time to think. And then I was hit with the let’s go to commercial break. That interview showed strong personalities with different opinions having a civil conversation.”
