Kanye West Reveals Album Title As ‘The Life Of Pablo’, Is Meta As Fuck

HOLY SHIT YOU GUYS. Kanye West has released the name of his album and we’re in no way sure of this, but it MIGHT BE THE FINAL ONE.

Introducing…
So Help Me God
Swish
Waves
The Life Of Pablo
   DING! DING! DING!

That might be a winner, folks. Yeezy is live-streaming his new album on Tidal tomorrow, so that doesn’t leave a lot of bloody time to change it. Still might. ~Kanye is as Kanye does~, etc.

Astute Kanye and/or Kendrick Lamar fans will recognise the titular character of Pablo from ‘No More Parties In LA‘, their collab released in Jan which features the lyrics:

I feel like Pablo when I’m workin’ on my shoes
I feel like Pablo when I see me on the news
I feel like Pablo when I’m workin’ on my house
Tell ’em party’s in here, we don’t need to go out

Like, why didn’t we all connect the T.L.O.P. dots with NMPILA? Ameteurs. Every last one of us.

Naturally, Kanye announced T.L.O.P.’s true meaning (apparently not Terminal Lack Of Pussy, etc) on Twitter, along with the track list:

Curiously, No More Parties In LA does *not* feature on that list, although it definitely did back in Jan, when the album was still Waves.

Kanye, we love ‘ya, but you’re giving us whiplash. Nice job on the handwriting though – here, have one of these:
