Kanye’s Sunday Service Took Ohio To Church This Weekend, And You Can Watch It All Online

In quite possibly the second-ever time that Kanye West and his Sunday Service has been opened up to the public, the gospel-rap congregation took Dayton, Ohio to church over the weekend to support communities shaken by the recent mass shootings in the area.

It’s also possibly the first time the whole service has been live-streamed, and you can spy Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye with two older kids North and Saint standing as part of the congregation’s inner circle.

Crowded under a big white tent in the middle of a park beside the Miami River, the choir performed a blend of gospel songs littered with Kanye’s tracks like ‘Jesus Walks‘ for an hour and a half. It also included a speech from Dayton resident Dave Chapelle, who had organised a big block party in the nearby entertainment district to reclaim the space back from the recent horrific shootings.

With a setup that seems like it’s much more stripped back than the huge mountain-top production that we saw at Coachella this year, the Sunday Service pulled a whopper of a crowd to help reclaim the city from the grief it’s been experiencing since the shooting on August 4.

Kanye later got on the keys to simply live his best life and get the whole congregation dancing, and look it just seems like he’s having a really nice time, ok?

Set aside a good hour and a half this afternoon and watch the whole thing over on at the Sunday Service website. Skip through to about the one hour mark to watch Kanye fucken whip it on the keys.
