First came news that Kanye West has cancelled the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour, with sources citing severe exhaustion.
Now there are troubling reports he’s been taken to UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation after police responded to a welfare check on Yeezy at around 1:20 PM PT.
A welfare check is typically carried out when an individual’s concerned family or friends request that he or she is checked on by authorities because they might be in danger or require assistance.
TMZ is reporting that Kanye was being checked out by one of his doctors for severe sleep deprivation, when someone decided he should be admitted.
He was reportedly reluctant to go, and had to be restrained (likely handcuffed) when he was transported to UCLA.
