At this point, it would probably be news if Kanye didn’t interrupt one of his shows for a lengthy rant about how he’s the most vital and influential artist on the planet, and we should all pay him more respect and/or attention. That being said, his latest diatribe, from this weekend’s Wireless Festival in the U.K., is a real fucking doozy.
After singing the opening bars of ‘Runaway’, the rapper, Kim Kardashian enabler and high self esteem-haver took a pause for a game of Kanye Madlibs. Flipping between speaking and singing, he called out Nike, Louis Vuitton and Gucci for trying to stifle his creativity, and by extension, called out anyone who has ever thought of him as less than awesome.
“I ain’t worried about saving face!” he said at one point. “Fuck my face!” Keep on being excellent, Kanye.
