Kanye West is still in an LA hospital after suffering what sources are calling a ‘psychotic episode’ last Monday.
Kim Kardashian West has reportedly been by his side around the clock to help him recover, but let’s just say that Yeezy isn’t making it overly easy for everyone.
Q. Why does someone get taken to hospital after their mental health reaches breaking point?
A. Rest. That’s the point. Resting your body and mind enough that you are stable enough to continue to go about your normal day-to-day life.
Unfortunately, Ye seems to have missed that memo. Apparently, it’s taking all of the medical staff’s (as well as Kim‘s) energy to continually remind the rapper that he isn’t supposed to be working right now.
Kanye is well-known chronic workaholic, but he’s taking it to a whole new level during his recovery at UCLA Medical Centre in LA.
He has allegedly requested work from his fashion line, and equipment for a makeshift recording studio in his hospital room – and while we’d absolutely bloody love a ‘The Life of Pablo Pt. II’, we’d really rather our boy rest and wholly recover.
A source told US Weekly:
“Kanye keeps wanting to work. At the hospital, he requested that recording equipment be brought to the hospital so he can record in his bed.And he has kept asking to see sketches of his fashion lines.He continues to want to work and Kim has to keep telling him to rest.”
Kim is trying everything she can; even turning people away from seeing him so he can get more rest, says the source.
“Kim wouldn’t leave his side except to see the kids. She’s been at the hospital all the time. Kim has been keeping a very close watch on him and not letting people disturb him.All kinds of people have called and sent flowers, but she’s being very careful about not disturbing him and making sure he rests and recovers.”
Kanye will reportedly remain in hospital until further notice, according to TMZ (but other reports have stated he will return home on Monday, soooo 
).
).While Ye‘s diagnosis has been speculated on by every man and his dog and his dog’s fleas, the most recent reports state that he is battling depression and paranoia.
