Kanye Gives Up On That Tidal-Only Life, Puts Solitary Pablo Track Up Everywhere

Thus far, the “living, breathing, changing creative expression” that is Kanye‘s The Life Of Pablo has been confined to Spotify, but overnight, in a typically inscrutable move, he decided to set part of it free – but just one song, and only one song.
That song would be the Taylor Swift diss track ‘Famous’, whose lyric “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous” was engineered in a laboratory to churn up a million headlines, and in fact did just that.
For reasons known only to himself, Kanye has made the track available on Google Play, Apple Music and, pointedly, on Spotify, a platform on which Taylor’s own music can not be heard.
Bad news? If you want access to the rest of Pablo, you need to keep your Tidal subscription active. Good news? You probably already pirated it long ago, so that’s totally irrelevant.
This has been your Kanye update for today.
