K-Pop Group Repeatedly Slip On Stage In Highly GIF-Able Performance

We’ve seen shitty weather conditions at shows before – we once witnessed Feist get a series of mild electric shocks from a poorly-wired microphone on a wet day – but the below performance, from K-Pop group GFRIEND, is really something else.
Over the weekend, the group appeared at a festival in South Korea’s Gangwon Province, and were required to perform, even though the stage was slick from rain, making a slippery and unsafe surface for their expansive choreography.
The girls, clearly professionals, decided that the show had to go on, and performed in the midst of all that aquatic fuckery, leading to a series of falls as they attempted to bust out their dance moves.
They had to keep helping each-other up, and after the performance was done, assured fans on social media that none of them was hurt. The question of why the festival’s organisers allowed this to happen in the first place remains unanswered.
Here’s the ill-fated performance in a series of mesmerising GIFs:
Here’s the big finish. Serious congratulations to GFRIEND for making it this far:
Here’s the original video of the performance, in which the girls bust out their catchy AF single ‘Me Gustas Tu’:
