As was always the plan, part two of JT’s The 20/20 Experience is imminent/ better solidified. Justin today revealed a release date of September 30th, tweeting the following image uploaded via his Instagram account:
In a configuration that can only be described as 10/10 + 10/10 = 20/20, it will be interesting to see the direction of version 2.0. The LP’s part 1 garnered rapid success (double platinum, in fact) in less than two months, with nods to JT’s preferred splicings of funk and soul. Whether it’ll operate in a similar vein or not is unclear. Whichever the case, we’ll propose that an absence of any albums at all between 2006 and 2012 is suitably redeemed by releasing two in 2013.
