The Jonas Brothers Drop New Bop ‘Cool’ For You To Absolutely Obsess Over

Just when you thought you were sort-of-kind-of-not-really over the Jonas Brothers’ reunion, the boys have released a brand new tune. It’s simply called ‘Cool’ and it’s here to maximise your weekend vibes.

The retro video, from the boys’ ‘Sucker’ director Anthony Mandler, begins with some major Miami Vice feels complete with fancy cars, oversized blazers and dress pants, and dancing women in colourful aerobics gear.

In one verse, Joe Jonas sings ‘Sittin’ there, winning like it’s Game of Thrones‘ in what must be a lil’ sweet tribute to his fiancée Sophie Turner. The stunning couple recently attended the premiere of GoT season eight in New York. In the same verse, Joe sings about Post Malone who referenced them in his 2018 tune ‘Better Now’.

‘Cool’ is available on all your usual streaming suspects including Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, and Amazon Music.

Earlier this year, the Jonas Brothers revealed they have already recorded 30 to 40 new songs.

Appearing on the Elvis Duran Show, Joe explained that after six years apart, it took some time for the band to find their sound again. Before reuniting, Joe was in the pop band DNCE and Nick had his own solo career.

“When we started to figure out what the sound was going to be like – balancing Nick’s sound, DNCE’s sound, and to be truthful – Kevin bringing so much heart into this. It’s been incredible,” Joe said. “His stories and his family and everything that’s been going on now. It’s been really important to blend the three and so we have probably 30 to 40 songs recorded that we can’t wait to release.”

Oh, and as part of their reunion press tour, the Jonas Brothers casually told Nova‘s Smallzy’s Surgery that they promise to “definitely tour Australia.”

Stay tuned.
