John Mayer responds to his appalling comments of late with a tearful apology on stage at a concert in Nashville. Apologising for the comments that he had thought were “witty” and “clever”.
So (if you can stomach it) he makes this apology with guitar in hand in front of a crowd of screaming fans – the perfect forum for a needy, self absorbed man to get a little bit of validation. Then he starts shredding in an amazing guitar wig out – cos let’s face it: the dude can wail. We’ll give him that.
