If you’re at all familiar with Joakim the chances are high that you got introduced to him via Cut Copy’s Fabric Live Mix. Joakim’s 5 minute escalator ride “I Wish You Were Gone” called track#1 home and was the perfect opener to what has since gone on to become arguably one of 2006’s grooviest mix cds. He has remixed everyone from DJ Mehdi to Annie via Tiga, Cutters and Late of the Pier. They’re all compiled on his latest release “My Best Remixes” which you should buy now.
