Over the weekend Beyoncé did her bae a solid and headlined his Made In America festival (MIA) in west Philadelphia, where neither were born and raised. On the stage was where she spent most of her days. Chillin’ out maxin’ relaxin’ all cool.
There were no complaints re: her body, so fluorescent under the lights and Jay was talking ’bout she’s the baddest bitch thus far. Her 34th birthday was on Friday, Sept. 4, and during her 90-minute set she was all: “I am so, so happy to celebrate my birthday with y’all.”
Throughout she sampled Maya Angelou and a Ronda Rousey sound bite: “The kind of chick that just tries to be pretty and be taken care of by someone else. That’s why I think it’s hilarious if my body looks masculine or something like that. Listen, just because my body was developed for a purpose other than (sleeping with) millionaires doesn’t mean it’s masculine. There’s not a single muscle on my body that isn’t for a purpose, because I’m not a do-nothing (chick).”
Meanwhile, Jay got that dirt of his shoulder and slipped into the crowd with Nick Jonas to catch Bey’s set; he proceeded to spend the whole time having the*best*time.
