Janelle Monae And Kimbra Collab On Tour, Song

Your girls Janelle Monae and Kimbra just dropped off a big announce: they’re gonna be visiting Australia next month for a run of shows in which they’ll play their own headline sets before performing together.

The two reportedly met at the Montreux Jazz Festival last year, where – in between playing the jazz music – they bonded over Prince and apparently pledged an oath to book the coolest double headliner tour of 2014.

Monae released her acclaimed third record, The Electric Lady, in 2013, while Kimbra’s prepping her second album for release later this year. It’ll reportedly feature appearances from guests as diverse as Daniel Johns, John Legend and Muse’s Matt Bellamy.
