Considering RZA made a guest appearance on James Blake’s stunning new album AND the Wu-Tang Clan were bringing the ruckus to Coachella, it was hardly a surprise of R.Kelly/Phoenix proportions when Blake welcomed the rapper/kung fu aficionado on stage for their Take A Fall From Me, but it was no less impressive. In addition to the 2 Chainz/Fall Out Boy(!?) and Purity Ring/Danny Brown collaborations, Blake and RZA’s tender ode to lust, longing, chips and vinegar, ensured there was a defence of sorts against the inevitable seen it first hipster notion that Coachella Weekend 2 tickets are the worst.
