Jack Antonoff would really like you to know that he is not, in fact, dating Lorde, and that you should get all out of his business.
Antonoff, who you might know from indie bands Bleachers and fun., had his split with Girls‘ creator Lena Dunham publicly confirmed last week and already people are pointing at him and Lorde and making suggestive noises while wiggling their eyebrows.
In a tweet this afternoon Antonoff said this was absolutely not the case:
normally i would never address rumors but i resent having the most important friendships and working relationships in my life reduced to dumb hetero normative gossip. those relationships are deeply important and sacred. with that said, im not seeing anyone. lol.
An article in Vulture detailed the reasons why they might be together as the following: they work a lot together and also feature semi-regularly in each other’s Instagram posts. Incredible, a man and woman working together in the 21st century, that must mean they bone down!
